Your Move.
Your Memories.
Our Family's Promise.

Moving is hard work, and there’s no point pretending otherwise. Whether you’re settling into a new neighborhood across Jacksonville or relocating a business somewhere else in Florida, the process can wear you down fast.

At Skinner Moving & Storage, we think it should feel a whole lot easier than that. As a family-owned and operated Jacksonville moving company, we bring something the big national chains usually can’t: a personal touch from people who genuinely care about the outcome. We know we’re not just hauling boxes and furniture. We’re handling the things you’ve worked your whole life to build. That’s why our approach is simple. The customer always comes first.

Our Story

Skinner Moving & Storage was founded right here in Jacksonville, Florida. What started as a small family operation has grown into one of the most trusted moving companies on the First Coast, and we’ve done it without losing what made us different in the first place. The Skinner family has built this business on one simple idea: treat every customer’s move like it’s our own.

We’re still headquartered in Jacksonville, still answering our own phones, and still showing up on moving day with the same crew you spoke with from the start.
