What size trucks do you use?

Once we do an evaluation of the move, we will choose the appropriate truck for the job ranging from 10 feet to 26 feet.

How many movers do you provide?

It depends on the size of the job. Most moves require only two or three movers while some may require up to five movers. Rest assured, all of our movers are clean-cut, professional movers in uniform

What other services do you provide?

In addition to moving services, we provide furniture deliveries, packing only, and labor only as well!

Can we hire Skinner Moving and Storage just to load/unload a truck?

You sure can! This is called labor only.

What type of payments do you accept?

Credit card, debit card, check, or cash – whichever is most convenient for you!

What type of moves do you handle?

We do anything from single pieces of furniture to apartments, condos, offices, restaurants, retail stores, or single-family residences.

Do you work on weekends?

Yes

Is Skinner Moving & Storage. licensed and insured?

Yes, you are well protected. Skinner Moving & Storage maintains $2,000,000 of Liability Insurance, $50,000 of Cargo Insurance and all of our employees are covered by workman’s compensation insurance.

What areas do you serve?

Skinner Moving and Storage is located in Jacksonville, FL primarily serving all of Jacksonville’s surrounding areas. However, our moving crews service as far South as Orlando and North as Fernandina.

Do you have any minimums?

In order to maintain the proper cargo liability, general liability, and worker’s comp insurance, we must instill 3 hour minimums on all full service moves and moving labor jobs. However, if you need delivery, we can work out a special low flat rate depending on the job!

Do you have same day service available?

Yes, depending on the size and location of the move.
